“The Scary Stuff of boats and Docks” by Bill Cullen
Usually, docking is the most stressful part of sailing for all of us. Come learn a few techniques to make it go smoother, and give you more control. We will cover some of the topics in the classroom, and then we’ll take my boat out and practice a few of the maneuvers. We will cover these subjects: properly tying up your boat using the Pythagorean Theorem, in and out of a slip, springing off and on the dock in a breeze, using fenders properly, med mooring techniques, backing & maneuvering in tight quarters, picking up mooring ball and the right anchoring technique.
